This informal cooking class will teach you how to cook traditional Spanish dishes and at the end of the course you will be able to enjoy the fruits of your labour with a good bottle of wine! The class is aimed at increasing your love of food and emphasis is placed on fun and enjoyment. Classes are held in English and a typical menu includes Gazpacho, potato omelet, tomato bread, shellfish paella and Catalan cream, although this varies by season.

The cooking class can also be combined with a guided tour of Barcelona’s famous La Boquería Market** in the heart of La Rambla. Sport Fishing in Gran Canaria

Head out into the deep blue for a fantastic day fishing in the fertile waters surrounding Gran Canaria. You can expect to catch billfish, yellow fin tuna, Atlantic bonito, barracuda, albacore and blue marlin among many other species inhabiting these waters.

Transfer to Puerto Rico dock where you will board your fishing vessel which has been equipped with the best American brand fishing equipment available for your use. There is the choice between deep sea fishing (100 m – 350 m deep) or surface fishing although the final decision is left to the captain based on local conditions.

Between October and April, the best option is deep sea fishing and you can land Thronbacks, Moray eels, Breams, Snapper Amberjacks and Congers. Alhambra and Generalife, Granada

One of the most visited and important medieval monuments in Europe, the spectacular Alhambra Palace has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site and sits atop of the Assabic (Red Hill) overlooking Granada.

The Alhambra or ‘Red Fortress’ is a breathtaking palace complex of the Moorish monarchs of Granada. Its original buildings date back to the eleventh century and were constructed for Mohammed Ibn Alhamar, the founder of the Nasrid Dynasty. The fortress or alcazaba was constructed first followed by the Royal Palace and finally the highest part of the Alhambra which became the court member residence. Centuries later, Charles V commissioned a palace to be built on the same site.

Your visit to the Alhambra will take you through the most important halls and courtyards including the beautiful Patio de los Arrayanes (myrtle courtyard), the Patio de los Leones (lion courtyard), the Salon of the Embajadores (ambassador’s hall), and the Sala de los Abencerrajes, which was the scene of a tragic legend. Avila was the birthplace of the mystic writer Saint Teresa of Jesus (1515 - 1582) and has been a pilgrimage site ever since. Within the city walls you will discover a large number of Romanesque style churches, gothic palaces and a fortified cathedral from the 12th century.
